Please be advised that individual employers, many externship sites, and specific certification administrators unaffiliated with Tidewater Tech may have regulations or policies that could limit or prohibit acceptance into employment, externship opportunities, or certifications for persons who have a history of a criminal conviction for a felony, certain misdemeanor crimes, or any crime involving the elderly or persons under the age of 18. The institution affirms that it is the responsibility of the student entering a program to ascertain if their individual history may prevent employment, externship or certification in their chosen field of study.
